Walk With Me is a two‑person walking device that requires shared rhythm and mutual coordination. Designed to be worn and activated by two bodies simultaneously, the work binds individual movement into a single forward trajectory, making walking a negotiated, collective act rather than an independent one.
The object stages division as a spatial and embodied condition. By physically linking participants, it draws attention to how separation is often enforced through orientation, direction, and access to movement - who walks where, alongside whom, and under what conditions. Difference is not erased, but temporarily set aside through synchronised action.
Activated through use, Walk With Me proposes walking as a method of alignment. The device encourages attentiveness, pacing, and cooperation, allowing unity to emerge through shared motion. In this way, the work reframes coexistence not as agreement or sameness, but as a practiced, bodily commitment to moving forward together
